is any one here capable enough to or knows some who can work out chords by listening to a song? it's a matter of really life and death and you can most probably have anything along side my eternal love in return for this deed.
Just joined as this community seems to be about the things i <3 so here i am :) My name's Bethy, I'm 17 and I just adore music anything British especially - my current favourite bands/artists are: The Ordinary Boys, The Libs (ok not very current), Tigermoth, The Rocks, Blur and all the old stuff (Clash/Pistols)
My next gig is the Ordinary Boys in October and I can't wait...
Hey, I am a new member. My name is Gabi, and I am from California. I am a big fan of razorlight, the libertines, yeti, franz ferdinand, kasabian, the futureheads, bloc party, snow patrol, and kaiser chiefs.
Suddenly remember i should inform y'all of the amazing-ness of saturday at the griffin! It was great and who should we walk in to as we go through the door - oh yes no one other than JOHN HASSAL! well i suppose its stupid of me i mean of course he was obviously going to be there but you he was there. What can i say i was suprised! Anyway the gig was SO good not the best what with the next door neighbors cutting out the electricity to the microphones but since we were inches from John and Harmony we could still hear them.
Better than listening to me read the review and look at the photos taken by the hot photographer guy who i managed to talk to and get these addresses of him. Review (we're the girls he mentioned dancing at the front): http://www.aaamusic.co.uk/reviews.asp?id=211
Just realized i missed the Duke Spirit at HMV yesterday but it's ok cause i'm going to see Maximo park on Friday - you should all come along it is FREE and starts at 6pm at Virgin on Oxford street (tottenham court station) also someone offered for me to go see them on the 21st this month ok my first exam is on the 23rd but does it really matter that much?!
well i don't remember joining this community but you have the kaiser chiefs as one of you interests so you can't be all bad. Anyway here's my Kaiser chiefs story:
Sitting in the VIP section of the Astoria last night waiting for the Kaiser chiefs to appear on stage; when I and penguin_misha saw Ricky coming through the crowd but no one else in the area was going up to him so we weren't sure but tried anyway and it was! He was really sweet and let us have a picture with him which i think his girlfriend took and they were really nice but he seemed a little nervous about the gig so we wished him good luck and I kised him on the cheek. He was not as tall as I imagined he would be. It was really amazing gig and simon amstell from popworld was sitting next to us so we got to meet our two favourite people in one night. And simon was nice to and gave us ticket to TMAS which was a bit rubbish but simon made up for everyone else's rubbish-ness. i love simon and ricky! Still not over the amazing-ness of the whole night.
